Lib Dem Elaine Morris wants to make sure local opinion is heard on the Waterfront Development

Many residents have contacted Elaine Morris about the continuing development along the Forth. Concerns include the volume of heavy goods vehicles accessing the new developments and the protection of existing leisure facilities such as the Forth Corinthian Yacht Club and the Royal Forth Yacht Club.

Elaine said 'It is frustrating that the Waterfront Partnership Board, chaired by a Labour councillor, does not listen to local concerns. They are riding roughshod over the very people who are most affected by the massive changes taking place.

"It is wrong that the Board includes only councillors and members of Scottish Enterprise. What do they have to hide by excluding local residents? I will continue to press for the voices of local people to be heard."
