Latest betting odds from bookmaker William Hill has confirmed that Edinburgh North & Leith is a close two horse race between Labour and the Liberal Democrats.
Odds from Ladbrokes and Paddy Power had placed the SNP and Tories as rank outsiders. Now William Hill has confirmed the contest as a straight fight between Labour and local Liberal Democrat Kevin Lang.
William Hill have given the following odds (decimal shown in brackets)

Local Liberal Democrat Kevin Lang said, "Everyone knows that the contest in Edinburgh North & Leith is a straight two horse race between myself and the current Labour MP.
"Both the Conservatives and SNP have admitted they are out of the race and will not win. Only the Liberal Democrats are seriously challenging Labour and have a real chance of winning come the next election."
